I am currently working as a Senior Field Consultant. I started my professional career in 1999 in India. In the year 1999 I decided to transition from the Retail Industry to hard core Information Technology, which was always my strength and desire. I realised my strengths and keen interest when I worked on Dbase III Plus a few years back but due to various constraints I could not pursue my career at that point in time. I have worked in various capacities in the fields of Software Technology, as Systems administrator, Systems Support Engineer, Implementations Engineer and Senior Implementation Engineer. Currently, I am based as Senior Field Consultant for a Microsoft Gold Partner in Oxford, U.K.

How to Install Windows 7 Step by Step

Installing Windows 7, this is one of the most straight forward installs you can ever come across.

First step, put the DVD in to the drive and make sure your BIOS is set to boot from the drive. Pretty standard Windows setup screen here.

Select relevant settings to your requirements.

Click Next >

Install Now >

Accept Agreement > click next >

Since we booted from the DVD we have to do a Custom Advanced install. The upgrade option is greyed out it's available if you start the setup from within your current version of Windows.

You can partition your H.D.D if required or else click next >

After this all you need to do is:

1. Enter your License key
2. Enter your PC Name ( What you would like to call this computer )
3. Enter a username of your choice.
4. Select your time zone.

That's all !!!

It can not be more straight forward that this can it ?

Good Luck
